I can't figure this snake out... This is the female Charleston I have slated for sale this coming weekend at Tinley. Looking straight on, and even using a flashlight her pupil is black. And no red showing. Yet in almost three fourths of the pics I take of this snake, her right eye is red. Like it's red eye only not quite the right shade for that. And today I was looking at her extensively and noticed, that when she turned in the right way, that eye shows that reddish color! Weird! Any thoughts on this from anyone? Somehow the light is being bent in such a way into this certain eye for whatever reason that it glows red? Interesting, and thought I'd share it now that I've seen it without the camera. Funny how little things can escape the eye when you have a whole bundle of babies and don't have oodles of time for individual sit and play for hours for each one! Just found this curious about this girl. Thought I'd find a ruby eye there but as I said, flashlight on the eye and looking direct shows a normal eye.
