The party-hat egg was fertile, but it kept molding over repeatedly. I separated it to its own incubation container and it eventually turned pretty shades of colors and went solid, so I chucked it.

Houston, we have pippies!

I was telling Carlos, if these eggs dented in anymore they'd shrivel up. Since it was my first time using HatchRite I was concerned the tops of the eggs would become too dry and tough, so I had been lightly misting them everyday just to make sure.

I went downstairs this afternoon to check on them, and I have two little Amel noses peeking out. So far they're still just noses after 9 hours. I'm kind of anxious to see them, I'm hoping they'll be little bright guys.

I'll post pictures as soon as I have something to take pictures of. =P

Yay, the first two pippies made it out today, and one more has pipped within the past few hours.



They're not as bright as I was hoping for, but I see some potential for nice things.
