I bought her from a small breeder at a local herp show in '05 along with her sister. The sister died within the first week and I found a spinal bump in this one after a few weeks went by. There is no website and there was no way to find the breeder. Needless to say I have blackmarked that breeder and avoid their table at shows. She just the most beautiful caramel I've ever seen and I was devastated at the thought of not being able to breed her. Fortunately the bump is almost gone now and I'm not worried about using her to breed. I've got to get an Abbott's Okeetee male this year.

I'm generally not at all a fan of caramels, but those borders really do add some appeal to the look. I think your idea of breeding caramels with heavy borders is a really good one.

Hey Kathy.......I know you are downsizing a bit, but please tell me this girl is still in your collection. Do you have any current pics? An update of her progression would be awesome.
