I hate to say that I have sold her to someone local. His plans are the same as what mine were, to improve the caramel lines with thick borders by using Abbott's Okeetees and also introducing sunkissed into the mix. We may breed her to my Abbott's next year or the year after. I'll be getting back a few of those babies. It was another project that I really liked, but I had to prioritize what I could and couldn't keep. I'm looking forward to the finished product and breeding those. I'll get pics as I can, though. I do miss her.

I actually bought my Caramel with the same goal in mind.
She's not thick bordered, she's typical - but she will be paired with my male Abbott's and the het offspring will be paired with abbott's. I probably will test the female 50% hets for the caramel gene (assuming it isn't visible - some say caramel is codom enough that you can see the hets) and breed the hets to Abbott's.
Long term project, but I think it would stunning - especially if then crossed into the amel abbott's line to make Butter Abbott's (not sure they could still retain the name Abbott but ...)
