2008 Breeding Plans

Here is what I am looking to pair up next season...

Christmas X Butter Mot banded = het Christmas, caramel, amel, motley

Banded Miami X Milksnake Phase = banded motleys

Hypo Baird's X het hypo Baird's = hypo Baird's and het hypos

Jungle corn (wide stripe amel) X Honduran ratsnake het anery = cool hybrids, het corn amel and Honduran ratsnake anery


A few other ideas that I'm throwing around are...

Anery stripe X normal stripe hets unk

Snow X Honduran ratsnake : testing the anery genes

Will be very interesting if you can get Honduran ratsnake crosses with corn - do you have both sexes of both species - is the plan to try bait and switch? Also interesting to hear experiences with the Bairds cross. Best of luck with all the plans. I am very keen to see your high emoryi rootbeers - I think it is great that more people are working with getting the emoryi increased in creamsicle lines.

Look forward to seeing pics of the potential partners,

The Honduran ratsnake is a female and I have several male corns who won't take "no" for an answer, so we'll see if there needs to be any tricking. Honduran ratsnakes are more or less the corns of Central America, within the Elaphe group.

Interesting picture - weird eyes on those guys. Intersting that they have anery as well and will be nice if you can establish whether it is the same as in corns,
