Tim, I am going to say this as impartially as I can...please get over it. It's absolutely ridiculous. The longer this little micro-drama goes on, the more you end up looking like a chap with a chip on his shoulder.

Which things, you ask?

"But what do I know?" OR " ""Normal"" normals" ad nauseum..

You can't say with any degree of certainty what you bought was/is/will be an Ultra until its tested to be an Ultra with a known Ultra. To sell them as anything but an "Unknown" would have been a bad decision, imho. Just as bad as the guy you bought them from made. No one was trying to gyp you out of the fast money, only trying to impart some rationality to you.

I can't tell you what you bought, no one can. You bought some cheap snakes from some guy labeled as T+, which we all have come to accept is a fallacy in the corn snake world. It's a marketing ploy, pure and simple. Which is why it should be imperative to test them out BEFORE making conclusions and getting your knickers in a knot over what amounts to a whole heap of nothing.

You don't have to agree with what was said by whomever. You could have sold them as whatever you claimed. But all I can say is that they were correct in their logic and complementary cautions. And to think, I wasn't even around for that discussion in chat and even I can grasp that concept.

You have a personal issue going on here where there is none, nor should be. And that, as always, is MHO.

I don't know, I don't see anything in the original post that's nearly as dramatic as the second. Sorry Misty, but to me the original post doesn't seem to disagree with any of the points you made... He said it could be a normal, what it is is unknown, but it's developing color.

To me it looks like Tim has resolved on waiting on testing before calling it anything. Until then, I think he has the right to post pics of the animal without being accused of being dramatic.

Maybe there is stuff going on I don't know about, but you know me. I don't take sides and just like to add my viewpoint. And my viewpoint is... I came to this forum to get away from drama. *shrug* It there is more to it, perhaps it would have been better addressed via email.

It's at least a purdy snake.

Oh yea I guess I will add to the drama a little.
A little bird told me that some one right near here got a ultrmel from the same T+ breeder and It proved out to be a ULTRA!

Timmah mentioned..

Mine is a normal until it can be proven Tim.... Same goes with the others in the same group.. Normals until proven innocent.. I know a couple or a few birds ( one fairly big bird ) that have same original T+ breeders stock too.. I won't mention names, as you know all the same birds that I know that have/had these in their groups..

Bro, I should take a trip down to the beach sometime.. Sort of miss that area.. The Del Mar show is when? I would likely head down for the Satuarday show...

Very nice pic of a pretty animal Tim and Jenn

And I'd just like to add that I have bought a "T+" from the man that this and others that Tim and Jenn have. I got mine at a show. I asked the guy what it was and he told me that it was a T+ and that I could breed it with anything that is carrying amel and get more T+. I then asked "So is this just an Ultramel?"
He replied with "Well, yeah some people are calling them ultramels."

That's my input on the subject.
