Waterbowl/Hide combos

I finally found them, the waterdishes with nifty holes in the side doubling as a hide, at Ikea. They come in two sizes, and how can you say not to the price of 25 cents for a 17Oz bowl and 50 cents for one 68Oz.

(Note these are from the US site, here is Ikea's homepage for other parts of the world -http://www.ikea.com/)

That's pretty awesome........and very cheap. I wonder what type pet they were actually made for cause that would be perfect for snakes. I will have to check these out as there was just a new store that opened up north of Austin. Good find and thanks for sharing.

I have a bunch of these, that I got from the dollar store here A buck ( Canadian) a piece. Just thought I'd mention that for anyone who may be looking for them in Canada. ( Dollarama ) I'm not sure what size they are in mL. But they come in red or blue. Only the one size that I've seen so far.

The only "problem" I've found with them, is the aspen underneath of them tends to mold easily. I don't know if its from condensation or the snakes perhaps taking a bath then hiding and dragging water with them. Other than that, I like em

Incredible price on those from Ikea. I use the same type - find them the ideal hide, especially for hatchlings - they really like to cram themselves under the bowl. You are lucky to be able to get them so cheap!!

Did you order from Ikea? It says they are not available on the web.

They have a lot of them, only the smaller green ones though; I picked up 20 of them for $5.
